This year's charity auction starts in three and a half weeks, but to whet your appetites we decided to start listing the items we're going to have on sale as we get them in here at
fps HQ. The first round of items are mostly made up of DVDs, posters and collectibles that come from our own vaults, as well as Manga Entertainment DVDs by way of Canadian distributor Anchor Bay Entertainment. However, I'd like to draw your attention to two donations in particular.
The first comes to us by way of renowned comics artist Steve "The Dude" Rude; an original eleven-drawing sequence from the
Nexus animated promo from a few years back. (I wrote about the promo
two years ago, but if your response is still "the what from the who now?" then you need to
read this.) The sequence features Nexus's girlfriend Sundra Peale confronting a baddie; you can see a partial scan of the first frame above.
The second donation actually came our way months ago, from
fps contributor
Jason Vanderhill; a pair of Japanese postage stamp sheets for collectors, featuring
Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, also known here as
Battle of the Planets or
G-Force. There's plenty more to see and plenty more to come, so check in on our
