I forgot to mention earlier that this week I'm guest blogging for Fred Seibert's ReFrederator video podcast. This week he's showing five cartoons that are no longer seen on television and hard to find on home video, because each one features—actually, centers around—racist stereotypes; I call the series "Black Comedy." This is a convoluted, complicated topic that I've approached before, but it never seems like there's enough space to convey everything that needs to be conveyed. That's true here as well, but by looking at five different cartoons and hopefully spurring some discussion, I expect it should make for a nice start. I'll fill in the links to the week's posts below as they appear on ReFrederator.
