Back in October we reported that YTV was trying to get a licence for a Canadian anime specialty channel. If you submitted a comment to the CRTC requesting that they OK the channel, pat yourself on the back: As of Tuesday,
the Anime Channel is a go. No word yet on when it's expected to go live—most likely, it'll be no sooner than next fall—but we'll keep you posted.
