BCI mines our nostalgia for cheesy cheaply-made fare with DVD releases of Filmation's
Bravestarr and
Ghostbusters (no relation to the Bill Murray movie—this one has a gorilla) in July. But I'm jazzed for a different kind of nostalgia: August features the second volume in
009-1, which mixes Cold War angst, future histories, sexy spies, cyborgs, and a nod to the Osamu Tezuka aesthetic in which everyone's kinda cartoony and rounded. (Like the title character, to the left—hot stuff!) Here, have a look at the
