Montreal's
Cinematheque Quebecoise is screening two modern anime favourites this month. Today, they are showing
Akira, and next week Thursday, they offer the opportunity to see
Princess Mononoke on the big screen.
Princess Mononoke was overlooked for an Oscar nomination for Best Foreign Language Film in 1997. It seems like the pattern has been repeated this year. Check out this Cartoon Brew post about this year's
