Barnyard: Anatomy of a Junket
Photos by Bob Miller · December 28, 2006 | It's a generally accepted truth these days that a movie is little more than extended advance advertising for an eventual DVD release. But movies have extended advance advertising as well, in the form of celebrity appearances and advance news stories. Both of these coincide in the peculiar world of the press junket, which can come in different forms. Bob Miller was part of the press junket for Paramount's Barnyard in Feburary, and was also at the movie's world premiere—the second part of the junket, one could say—in July. He writes about his experiences in "All the Moos That's Fit to Print," and we're happy to present his photographs from both events here.
