Polygon Pictures general manager Yoichi Ataka discusses their asset management database system for their CG production pipeline (the workflow structure). Pipeline issues are extremely important in computer animation productions, as they're key to managing the multitude of resources that multiple artists and programmers have to work with, often simultaneously. Remarkably, it's currently rare to have a pipeline system in place in Japanese studios.
